What is Checkers?
Checkers, also called draughts, is a two-player strategy game on the dark squares of an 8×8 board. Each side starts with twelve pieces and moves them diagonally forward, one square at a time.
You capture by jumping over an opposing piece, and if a capture is available you must take it. A piece that reaches the far row becomes a king and can move backwards too. Take every piece or leave your opponent without a move to win.
